It definitely takes a a butterfly's lifetime to load these.... 10+
seconds on Dual-P4. VS 2003.
I don't have a VCL.Net demo for D2006 for QuantumGrid, so I can't
compare these two - but NavBar and TreeList work instantly.
Where is the demo for D2006 for QG?

I was just wondering if there is anyone else using DevEx quantum grid
for VCL.NET. I have been playing with this under D2006 and was
surprised at the time it takes to compile and run a simple test app.
The compile doesnt take too long, but the loading of all the cxXXX.dll
assemblies is really slow. Once running, the performance doesn't seem
too bad though. But the compile/debug steps is a killer.
Wondering if it is just me or this is true in general for a "many"
assembly application.
