Hi,
By n-tier in this web-app case I just meant in the sense that it is a web
server with browser clients, and that kbmmw would not be required to
implement that in asp.net.
In most cases, creating a webapp using ASP.Net dont differ, in requirements, from creating a webapp using other
traditional methods.
And since he seemingly want to migrate an existing application, where requirements included database oriented stuff..
and maybe kbmMW (cant really see that from his list), I dont see those requirements go away, simply because moving to a
..Net framework.
It would still be prudent to have a n-tier setup, and .Net's abilities in those areas are still quite abysmal and
require substantial programming to reach the levels we are used to in (atleast some parts of) the Delphi n-tier world.
For that reason he would still benefit of an application server with more than out of the box facilities. Regardless of
if he wants that app server to be hosted by .Net or be native code in Win32 (or Linux for that matter), he could choose
to use kbmMW.
