Yes, it is. Actually, the name grew out of "Blaise Pascal" and
"Blazing Pascal", my first column in PC Techniques magazine.
That of course, led to Raise, and then a quick jump to "Raize".
Of course, every time I need to raise and exception in code,
I write raize Exception... first. :)
Very often, when I speak at a conference and display the session's
opening slide that contains the company name and my name, someone
in the audience will finally make the connection and ask me about it
at the end of the session. I remember back in 1995 at the San Diego
Borland Conference, a certain developer named Nick <g>, commenting on
the cleverness of the name and said that someday he would
have to use "Nix".
