My wild guess is that you need primary (unique) keys in your tables,
but then again ... I never worked with Access and your master/detail
problem could be related to something else.
If you are in need of a more professional support, I think it would be
better to post the question to Database newsgroups, since there are
developers who might have had the same problem and would be
able/willing to offer you a solution to your problem.
