Since the encoder/decoder is going to be seperate, does that mean it will
be possible to use any tcp/ip transport i.e. Synapse?

Yes, it means that you will be able to store the data to a file, write it to
a database, or send it over any transport you want. Even though there won't
be any ready-to-use projects working with transports other than RTC (package
will only include projects/demos using the RTC SDK and direct file access),
anyone who is good at using other components as transports should be able to
write their apps to communicate over those other transports, learning from
the examples written for the RTC SDK.
