Server-side workflow engine (Win32)?

I'm looking for a workflow engine suitable for a native server made with RemObjects for build a ERP system from scratch (Is for mid-size company and I don't need the complex workflow stuuf... I plan to use for describe the internal task rather that automate people), but only found a activex control and the .nET 2.0 MS offer.

I wonder if exist one. I don't need a graphicall editor but I want a easy to get API....
