I guess I wouldn't care if you did a simple remote control demo using
the encoder/decoder library if it used RTC, it would be better than
nothing.

I will probably be writing an example for remote desktop control using RTC
Video Codec and RTC SDK to be included in the RTC Video Codec package once
I
have RTC WebScript ready for the market. It might even start offering RTC
Remote Tools with full source code once I have it implemented, but the
only
thing I can offer you NOW is that you take a closer look at the RTC Video
Codec components and the Screen Cam demo, then try to use it to write your
remote desktop tools with Synapse.

If you don't have a commercial RTC SDK license, you have my permission to
use the Open Source RTC SDK version to compile RTC Video Codec components.
And should have any questions along the way, feel free to contact me
directly by E-Mail, or post to the "Remote Tools" section on RTC Forums.

And yet now that you've decided not to release the remote tools SDK it's
also impossible to get the RTC Video Codec.

My feeling is you've left a few people hanging here - I didn't bother
getting the
old remote tools thinking I'd wait for the new one. Unless I'm mis-reading
other posts now I can't have either - version 2.0 isn't going to be
released,
and using RTC SDK is not possible without Video Codec - which also will
not be released (without WebScript - is that true?).

I was pretty excited about being able to embed remote support IN THE
APPLICATION. At this point I'm starting to get a bit of a bad feeling
about the whole afair.
