Yes they have, and as for asking them you will get nowhere, our legal
department tried for 3 months to get an office statement from them
stating they have discontinued WinFax, but in vaine.

Since they no longer sale WinFax we have moved to snappy fax, which is
written in Delphi using Turbo Async controls. It works very well for us.

We stopped using it a couple of years ago, utterly unusable most of the
time, had to persevere for a while with it as we had paid for it, took
nearly 3-4 weeks back and fourth with Symantec to even get it to install
originally, then it still wouldn't recognize the modem and had to trick it
into believing the modem was a different brand.

Now use the inbuilt faxing of XP, not brilliant, but couldn't find any other
alternatives, was planning on writing ou own with the Async components but
haven't go to it as yet :-)
