Re: Vendors Protection Against Fraud



Verified by Visa, and the Mastercard equivalent, are moving that way (but
not to move the liability), but it has to be said that I don't think they
make the card user's experience any more secure. We shop online every
week, and the shop takes us to a page which is a frame with the shop's
explanation in the left, and the verified by Visa frame on the right. How
the heck do I know that this is the real Verified by Visa form? All I do
is enter my password. Any fraudulent web site could copy the layout and
I'd be giving my card details to them. And now Visa will say that it is my
fault if I get ripped off. I'm not sure there is an easy answer.
