Thank you.
I have not read but I wonder if you can make the program fix common problems
automatically.
For example, suppose everyone in the company needs the latest version of
Java - I could create a script to check the current version and if its old
then run a script to automate a Java install from the IE browser or network
resource.
If this were possible, then many many scripts could be create to
automatically check and resolve known problems and eliviate many support
calls.

I am in need of a tool that will test a system for software
requirements but is specific to a company setup. For example, I need
to verify that a certain admin account password has not changed, or
that a windows login has certain permissions, or that an email
account exists, or that an ADO provider on a client machine is the
correct version, or that IE popup windows are disabled, etc. These
are things that cause problems and if I had a program that did the
above checks then it would save me trouble shooting time.
You can use automise along with the system testing units within delphi.
Automise in one script could
1. compile your app
2. compile the system tests against the app
3. Run the sytem tests
4. build an installer
5. reset a vm
6. test the installer in a vm to check it from fresh OS install
7. select a snapshot in a vm
8. test an upgrade install in a vm
9. upload to your webserver
10. Mass mail that a new release is out.
