MS Access is not small footprint but it is installed on alsmost all
computers, so you will not need to deploy anything.

I would appreciate input on the smallest footprint database system (SQL is
not required) with encryption and single file solution.
TinyDB - no longer developed and not coping with high number of columns
Absolute Database (no small footprint at all)
EasyTable - (AidAim) downloading at present to check
The table I want to control have in total no more than 500 records.
