Hi Tim,
Unfortunately, you can't depend on people having IE installed in
Europe, since MS had to stop shipping with Windows in the EU.
So, it may or may not be available, and your install procedure
would have to take that into account. That is why I am looking
for something more self-contained.

Thank you for the suggestion. That would probably work, but is
way heavier duty than I need. I only need to be able to display
html dynamically generated in the program.
I guess it depends on what you mean by heavier duty. It's fast, it's free,
everyone already has it installed, and it handles exactly what you want to
do. Yes, it can support a lot more than what you specifically intend it
for, but any good component will do that as well.
