Hello!

I start by selecting a new project and then I import the source-files (under
Project options). There is about 1300 files. It takes about 3-4 minutes and
consumes around 160 MB.

Now I select Delphi 5-7 (Windows Help / RTF) and I press Build. Building
project Documentation takes about 5 mins. and memory consumption increases
to about 500 MB.

Building configuration takes about 3 mins. and memory consumtion is steady
around 500 MB.

Generating documentation for 61181 items takes an additional 2-3 mins taking
the build time is reported to be 9 mins. Now memory drops to about 200 MB.

Finally HCRFT starts running and ends by throwing an exception that there is
not enough memory available.

This is on a 1 GB system. 3.00 GHz dual processor and WinXP.

Hmm, that is really strange. Doc-O-Matic should be very fast, how long
does it take to parse your source? You mentioned it's 60000 symbols, how
much RAM do you have in that machine? What will slow down things
tremendously is if the system runs out of physical RAM and starts
swapping.

Just guessing, hard to tell what the problem might be without seeing the
project.
