ANN: RTC Portal 2.0 - almost there ...

RTC Portal 2.0 Beta now has multi-user Remote Desktop View and Control (one or more users can View and/or Control one or more Host PCs), multi-user File Transfer (one or more users can exchange files and folders with one or more Hosts) and multi-user Chat (one or more users can participate in group chat sessions with Hosts).
Here are a few interesting aspects of RTC Portal 2.0 ...
1) RTC Portal works over the HTTP(S) protocol, eliminating problems with Firewalls and/or Proxy servers. This ensures that your customers will NOT need to make ANY modifications in their firewalls or routers to be able to give you control of their PC(s). They won't even need to run a setup. All they will need is to run a small exe (less than 400 KB) ... and you are all set.
2) Any number of users can View and/or Control any number of Hosts connected to a single Gateway. In other words, (1) one or more Viewer/Control user can connect to one Host and work in a shared remote desktop session, and (2) any Viewer/Control can work with any number of Hosts at the same time.
3) Chat sessions are real-time and work for "one on one" and for groups of users. Not only can multiple Controls/Viewers participate in a group chat with one Host, but every Chat participant will see how any other Chat perticipant is typing his message - while he is doing it and not only after he "clicks the send button".
In other words, unlike most other chat/messenger applications, where you would be waiting and rolling with your eyes while watching a short info like "XYZ is entering a message", with Chat in RTC Portal 2.0, you will read the text as the other person is typing it. Letter by letter, word by word. And if he/she makes a mistake, you will see him/her correcting it.
This allows all participants to drectly interact with each other, since everyone will be reading the text while it is being entered, allowing a much shorter reaction time between responses and a much smoother conversation flow.
But, instead of reading my poor descriptions, why not
download RTC Portal 2.0 Beta and try it yourself?
