Re: Https Upload/Download need

Very good component if you just need download, upload and form capabilities. I use it in several applications. Like many of the download components, however, it does not give you access to the DOM.

For most uses that won't matter. For the few times it does I recommend the EmbeddedWB package from www.bsalsa.com. Get the latest beta build with the TIEDownload component if you want DOM access. If you don't need DOM access stick with WinHTTP, imo.

I've also used the web components from TMS and JVCL, although I prefer the functionality and ease of use of WinHTTP.

Check out also WinHTTP component from http://www.appcontrols.com/components.html. It can download and upload files, both by http and https.

Hi,

I need to do several things with a Web site using http and ssl.

1- Upload files
2- Download files
3- Post forms (some form include file uploads too)

as I do not know a lot about this, I do not feel like Indy is really for me (unless someone proves me wrong :)) so I look on google and found the Clever Components Internet suite.

My question is: does anyone has experience with it or would you recommend some other components ?

Thanks for your time and advices

Didier
