Joke aside, at the top right there is a small dropdown saying "Default
Layout" next to it there is an icon "Save current Desktop". That should do
what you want

I use C Builder but I am assuming the IDE works the same way. Have you
saved the desktop AFTER you resized / repositioned the IDE windows to
where you want them?
