Re: Anyone using Themida or WinLicense?

Vincent,

I don't use either of those, but I can tell you that the new version of SoftwarePassport (formerly Armadillo) supports 64-bit Windows with DEP turned on.

I'd been forced to manage my own DEP issues with v4, but the new v5 claims it's all integrated now. Although I own the new v5, I have not yet transitioned my live software to the new version. Although, to date, I've been very pleased with v4 (I came from ASProtect, as well).

P.S. www.siliconrealms.com is the website for SoftwarePassport.

I'm looking for a replacement for ASProtect, I've been looking at Themida and WinLicense, however the trial versions of both of these do not appear to work on Vista X64 (just uses 100% cpu but never shows any UI). I emailed their support but didn't get a response, doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in them as a vendor, having experienced one vendor dissapearing I'm keen to avoid this happening again.

Anyone using the current version on Vista X64? Do their products work with DEP turned on (this is big problem with ASProtect).
