Hello,
I'm just a fan of Oreans products nothing more. I'm representing Oreans in
anyway.
Themida is a complete protection, packing, compressing, encoding the exe
that adds the SecureEngine protection engine. It mixes the executable code
with the protection routines. The SecureEngine engine runs on ring0 (as
driver). On the other hand, Code Virtualizer is just like Ionworx
SecureCode, you select parts of your code
{start}
// code
{end}
and it changes the selected code instructions to a new/fake virtual machine
instructions. Nothing else. Then you can pack the exe with your favourite
protector or packer.
The Virtual Machine technology is already a part of Themida and WinLicense
and looks like the most interesting of all. That's why its the painful of
crackers.
Now as for the Unpacker there were some unpackers on the past but they all
have a small problem. The unpacker works for the demo version of
WinLicense/Themida. Crackers download trial/demo of Themida and they create
those unpackers. But unfortunatelly the trial version doesnt include all the
protection features of registered/private version to avoid study of
crackers. The same happens with Armadillo.
So, this unpacker is definately doesnt work in commercial applications
protected with registered Themida/WinLicense.. Can you see the comment on
this site?

when i tried unpack the program "avs video tools" windows xp crashes. could
you try it? i think unpacker has some problems..

On the other hand, Themida and WinLicense (as well as all other software
protectors) contain a complete SDK that allows you to secure your software
in the source-code level making impossible for every unpacker to unpack.
WinLicense contains 7 different macros:
Clear
CodeReplace
Encode
Registered
Unprotected
Unregistered
Virtual Machine
if you spend some time to use them in some parts of your codes I'm 100% sure
you will not be cracked at all. This is the big success of
Themida/WinLicense. It requires special study for each executable. There is
no way to remove protection with a universal way. Even if they study a
selected application/executable, the next release will be a completely
different executable because the protector put things in random places every
time. So, this also protects you from for "loaders".
If you download Themida/WinLicense and try to protect a file, you will see
that during the protection stage the protector disaassemblies the executable
file, then mix it with SecureEngine code and then it compiles again to a new
executable. That way the protection routines are a REAL part of the final
executable. Is not like other protectors that just place a shield around the
executable that can be later removed. That's why Themida and WinLicense
protected files are increased in size. A 400kb file can be 2.000kb. Yes I
know that's a negative thing but at least I'm sure that I have a very secure
and protected application. Its not like ASProtect that just puts a 200kb on
the top of the file that can be removed by begginer crackers.
In anycase just to be realistic, I will try to use this tool with a
protected application. Although all others released just failed.

Hello Bob D,
After reading your comment about Oreans, I make some search on the google
newsgroup "WinLicense Bob D" and I find some thread about Themida but one
"Shareware applications protected ", where someone post some information
about hdd crash, virus false alarm, unpacker (UnThemida 2.0) and keygen
for product Oreans products (Themida, WinLicense, CodeVirtualizer) and you
don't answer...
http://azmoaore.wordpress.com/tag/rce/rce-tools/
And today you post "never cracked since 2 year!", so humm...
It's seems to know very well oreans products, but you recommend
CodeVirtualizer, ok I download and read help file it's wrote on FAQ at
this question :
"What are the differences between Code Virtualizer and Themida?"
Answer : The Virtual Machine in Themida protected applications are much
heavier and complex than Code Virtualizer.
So if some tools are available to unpack and remove Themida, so what
happen for CodeVitualizer ? it's will be more easy, no?
Thanks
