IFilter using and writing

Hi
I'ld like to write an iFilter to index OleDocuments saved in an SQL-table. The documents are of type .doc and .xls. Since they have some additional bytes in the header, the standards MS IFilter for .doc and .xls doesn't work. Can someone point me to the right direction? Any help appreciated (documentation, iFilter interface for Delphi, ...). Or perhaps someone implemented just such a filter (freeware, shareware, commercial welcome)?
