Rich Text Validation

Hi All,

We have an Interbase database that stores entries in a text blob in
rich text format. We suspect that there are problems with some of the
records such as ending tags missing, etc.

Can anyone point me to a component, application, whatever that can
validate rich text for proper formatting? I'd like to find something
for rich text that could do a job similar to W3C's validator
http://validator.w3.org/ but hopefully where I could feed it several
hundred submissions in batch.
