I suppose it depends on what you want to do. Active Query Builder is hot,
from the perspective of a database developer. However, if your target
audience is end users who don't understand the ins and outs of databases,
linking and so on, you should take a look at EasyQuery from Korzh
(http://devtools.korzh.com/eq/).
Thank you for your comments. I decided to buy the Active Query Builder, it
seams to fit our needings best. It should help users to write SQL-Statements
and it does it wonderful. Users which are not able to use this tool are also
not able to write complexer SQL-Statements.
The benefit of EasyQuery is that you do all the configuration behind the
scenes, generating a schema that then has a very friendly UI for users to
fill in the blanks.
For doing this in the WHERE-part I have already a system which is ready for
simple end users of the SQL-Statements.
Thank you and all others.
