To add to comments thus far, DevEx QGrid is very comprehensive but it's a
steep learning curve because it is so different from the standard DBGrid.

A simpler package that works well are the X-Files. More similar to the
DBGrid standard but with column totals and some nice other additions. Not
sure if it handles Unicode though.
