Re: Delphi for Linux

Hi all,

As I believe that many (more) are now looking for alternatives to Windows, is there any Delphi like software that will run on the Linux OS?
Xylix bit the dust as far as I can remember. Pity.

Some of the software I am writing is for industrial controls/data logging and therefore doesn't need to run on Windows.

Regards,

I agree, If I could run Delphi on Linux in it's full glory and be able to compile win32 exes I would have no need to run Window$.

Kylix was a good start, but they need something that would allow cross compilation.

I even wouldn't mind if they built in full support for Mono and GTK to create native gnome apps. Even full support for Mono winforms would be better than Kylix.
