Re: ANN: RTC Portal VCL 2.50 > Only 14 days left to upgrade your old licenses!

Danijel,

I have some questions, but I am such a newbie at this... well, hopefully you will understand my questions! <g>

I have several clients that I need to transfer files to and to use remote desktop control would also be _very_ useful!

However, my environment is a bit odd... and I am wondering if RTC Portal can really work for me???

1. I do not have a fixed IP (right now I use noip.com)
2. My gateway box is running Linux (of which I know little!)
3. Some of my clients are behind very aggressive firewalls

Will RTC Portal handle this and can I test this out in any way???

I have to run to a client right now, but I will check your your response later if you have time.

Many thanks,
-Raymond

RTC Portal VCL 2.50 is a true RAD set of components for writing remote desktop control, file transfer and chat applications with Delphi and C++ Builder, including ready-to-use projects using the components (RTC Host, Viewer, Control and Gateway) built using only the RealThinClient SDK and the new RTC Portal VCL 2.50! Precompiled demo projects, as well as a few example components (with source code) can be downloaded for free, here:
