Hello,
I used to work at Borland on the C++Builder product (before everything was rolled into Borland Developer Studio and before CodeGear was created) and now work for a vendor that specializes in PDF software. I wanted to share a bit of information about our PDF conversion/processing SDKs in case they're useful for anyone here.
EasyPDF SDK (http://www.pdfonline.com/easypdf/sdk/index.htm)
EasyPDF SDK is a COM object that supports automation of many capabilites related to PDF documents. The features include but aren't limited to the following:
. Converts nearly any document to PDF using the same lines of code.
. Post processes (e.g. splits, merges, compresses, adds watermarks, linearizes, digitally signs) PDF documents.
. Converts PDF documents to various image formats (BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, multipage TIFF).
. Populates PDF AcroForm fields.
EasyConverter SDK (http://www.pdfonline.com/easyconverter/sdk/index.htm)
EasyConverter SDK is a COM object that converts PDF documents to rich text (e.g. Word format). The rich text output retains table formatting as well as the visual layout of the original input document. In addition, there is virtually no use of autoshape bounding boxes, so the output remains editable.
If anyone is interested in either SDK or has any questions at all, please feel free to post here or send me a private email (be sure to modify the email address as needed) and I'd be happy to give you more information.
