Hi Marc,
I am using classic ASP. I have no control of the server as it is a
hosting company so changing the configuration parameter could be
out of the question. What tools would you suggest I look into for
my purpose?

which limits the request length to avoid DOS attacks.
There are also both server and client side tools to see exactly what
you are sending and receiving.
