I too have posted and nothing has appeared. I have another question
about the find box when not in the separate window, as I can't get
anything to go into the search box, as I can't Ctrl-V into it, so it
isn't much help, although the idea is nice.

I see your post just fine. Try removing the account from your
newsreader and recreating it. The newsgroups recently switched
servers, and your newsreader may not like that.
