I've been monitoring this posting because I have exactly the same inquiry.
There are some routines in http://www.epinasoft.com/ which do 3d
visualizations. But I haven't tested then enough to know if they're up to
those produced by Mathematica, Matlab. Moreover, that software is mostly
devoted to high-level math calculations, not, primarily, to graphing. I do
my own math calculations -- the centerpiece of my programing -- but I do
need to display the results in graphical formats. For 2d graphs that's
straightforward, and I do all the coding myself. But 3d graphs are several
magnitudes beyond what I want to spend my time on, and would love to have a
tool that does it for me. I haven't yet looked at TeeChart -- maybe it
will, but the poster claims it doesn't deliver what Matlab/Mathematica will
do. (Is that true?) If necessary I'll learn to do it -- but please,
somebody, spare me the pain and time!

Does anyone know good 3D visualization components for Delphi? TeeChart
does not fulfill my needs as it is still 2D or semi 3D at the most.
An example of what I am looking for (not for Delphi) is here:
http://www.golden.com/products/voxler/voxler.shtml
These types of graphs were already present for years in statistical and
scientific packages like SPSS, Mathematica, Maple, MathLab etc.
I'm especially interested if anyone has good experience with stable and
robust (VCL) software for a reasonable price.
Thanks in advance.
