Searching for a good grid control

Hello group,
I am a happy D7 user and I use the TgridView component from Roman
Mochalov for all of my applications. I see that my applications start
looking more and more outdated every day so I am in process of upgrading
to D2007 and choosing a new set of components.
My main problem is the grid component. I NEED the functionality of so
called "Virtual grid". I need to be able to provide the data on demand
without storing it in the grid or in a simple DB table or reading it
from a query. The ideal grid will be able to provide events when it
needs data like TGridView:

procedure TSomeForm.GridView1GetCellText(Sender: TObject; Cell:
TGridCell; var Value: String);

I need as modern look as possible and will be happy if there is some
theming support. I need the standard DBaware mode as well. I found it
interesting to by a pack of components together with the new grid from
the same vendor and with same look and feel. The vendor must be "alive"
and there need to be some form of support avaliable.
My Google search showed me TMS and DevExpress packs that look
interesting but unfortunately they both have no trial versions. I can't
choose a component only by looking at the compiled demos!

Any ideas may be helpful
Thanks in advance
Alexander
