Re: RealThinClient SDK 2.77 - Ready for download from SourceForge

A new RealThinClient SDK update (v2.77) is ready for download:

This update is mostly interesting to developers working with clients running
as a service and using WinHTTP to work with a Proxy, since it allows you to
specify all proxy parameters directly in the RtcHttpClient connection. This
is also a major update for developers whose clients need to run behind proxy
servers which require authantication, for which there was no solution -
until now.

Here is the list of updates in this release:

1) RtcHttpClient component extended with support for using a specific Proxy
server. Using the new UserLogin.ProxyAddr and UserLogin.ProxyBypass
properties of the RtcHttpClient component, you can now set up your RTC
Clients to work with a specific HTTP Proxy server, without having to
pre-configure WinHTTP or Internet Explorer.

2) RtcHttpClient component extended with support for Proxy server
authentication. Using the new UserLogin.ProxyUsername and
UserLogin.ProxyPassword properties of the RtcHttpClient component, you can
now set up authentication for Proxy servers which require authorization.

3) Added support for Server authentication when working with WinHTTP
(WinInet already had this).

4) File_Client demo extended to use the new ProxyAddr, ProxyUsername and
ProxyPassword features.
