accessing Joomla database with Delphi: sample code or components?



I'd like to tweak my Joomla database (MySQL) with Delphi.

Has anyone seen any sample code or components designed specifically to
do that? (Accessing MySQL isn't so bad, but the hard part is the thorny
thicket of how Joomla stores data.)
