I've been confused by the wording myself. I wonder if it would make it
clearer if the wording was "registration valid through version 5.0" instead
of "registration valid until version 5.0"?

Regardless of how it's worded, we certainly do get a full cycle, and that
seems to take a little over the two years that's promised, so I think
there's not a thing to be unhappy about.
