Going to the native API would give you most power but there is bit of work
involved:
Microsoft Image Mastering API :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa366450(VS.85).aspx
Some of the Delphi prep work has been done before as is available for free
(though not updated recently the srouce is available) :
TXPBurn : http://www.bayden.com/delphi/xpburn.htm
For free you can also look at freeburner
http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeburner/
Depending on your need license might become a problem and it's also few
years old now.
Other than that look for ActiveX components as those shoudl work with
delphi.
In terms of multiple files on single CD: you just need to do a multisession
disc when burning.

I'm writing a small backup utility. Need to burn a file to a CD/DVD
each day so that I end up with one CD containing multiple backups. All
clients with have either XP or Vista. I'm using D2007.
I know this topic has been discussed many times. I have used Binary
Magics but am getting rid of it for various reasons (poor support,
poor documentation etc...). Also don't want to spend several thousand
dollars. Needs to be royalty free. What currently are my best options?
I saw a WinSoft just announced Component Suite. Anyone using that?
TIA.
