Re: The Match : Elevate DB 2.0 VS Nexus DB

I'm sure either will do you well, but I think the real answer should come from
yourself and your needs. Look at the documentation and the level of support. Me, I
use DBISAM (fore-runner to EDB) and I once thought I'd look at Nexus. I just picked
one aspect and compared the detailed manual description I knew, and tried to find
the equivalent in Nexus. At the time, the description turned out to be a "todo".
Things will have changed now, so do your own comparison.

The support from ElevateSoft has also been excellent. I had a very complex
threading issue with DBISAM, managed to get a demo in my big full app, and rather
than just saying "oh dear, too hard", Elevate took my app's code, pared it to the
bone, and sent it back saying it didn't seem to still show the problem. I spotted
that a thread had been eliminated, sent it back, and a day later the bug was fixed.
I was very impressed, and have not had such good support from anywhere else on
something potentially so hard to fix.

So, while I'll say that you should compare, I can say that Elevate are a good
choice if that's what you decide, and I recommend them heartily.
