TwwDBLookupCombo

I am using the InfoPower3000 component TwwDBLookupCombo to show all of the
possible values for the field Author in the table Books. These values come
from another table, the AuthorTable.
The lookupCombo correctly shows the list of Authors, but whatever choice I
make it is only the first item that is shown in the edit field.

This is the problem I am having. The funny thing is that I think I made no
modications in this form (though I am still working on the application) and
I am certain the lookupCombo did work. I had the same problem before, but
the I solved it without understanding how..
I suspect a bug in the IP component. Does anynone know of a problem in the
component ?
