I have written quite a few programs that use the Intel SIgnal Processing Library
(SPL) and no problems so far. Today I have used for the first time the function
nspdbIir that implements an IIR filter, after of course having initialized the state
pointer with valid values for the taps and the order.
What happens is that as soon as the program tries to execute that call, it
immediately terminates, no errors, nothing, just the program exits....
I seem to remember having read a couple of years ago on this ng something
about possible errors in the SPL, and that Intel had issued fixes.
But going today to the Intel site, I see that the SPL has been superceeded
by the IPP (Intel Performance Primitives), and that SPL is no more supported.
As upgrading (?) to IPP is not an option, does anybody have any information
on this problem ? Thanks in advance.
