Architectural Question? - Web Database Dev with Delphi 8 .NET

Hi

Can anybody tell me what facilities Delphi 8 .NET have that can enable me to
develop Internet Enabled Database apps. in Delphi 8. The Client Program
access & updates a database on a Web Server (owned by the ISP, or owned by
yourself (only managed by the ISP) - (which cost more... but enables you to
do more??!!)).

I have spoken to several ISP's in South Africa, and they all won't allow me
to deploy a WebSnap DLL or EXE on their Web Servers that is used by their
customers, because they say that if your DLL or EXE crashes the Web Server
all their clients will be influenced. This forces me to put my own Web
Server at the ISP, and for them to manage it, which costs much more.

1) Are there technologies in Delphi 8 .NET that can be used to develop an
Internet Enabled Database app. that operates on a standard ISP Web Server.

2) What technologies are there in Delphi 8 .NET that I can use where I set
up my own Web Server and how more powerful are these technologies than those
in D8 that can be used on an ISP's Web Server - or are they the same?
