With programming experience, and the ability to edit a file and show the
result immediately, you should find HTML very easy to pick up.
I expect there's a book "HTML for Dummies"; there ought, also, to be a
book or Web site "HTML for Programmers".
Most Web pages are complexificated with masses of script, or invalid
HTML. But try View Source on my Pascal & Delphi pages, which are valid
and generally straightforward "behind the scenes".
