Try to join some CIG (Computer interest Group) of genealogical
societies, and you really meet the really old programmers. Those who
programmed computers in hexadecimal or digital machine code (the last
one eg. IBM 1620 and IBM 1620 II. (I for my part used Fortran II on
it, but had to learn the stop code which was about 25 digits on the
keyboard)
