I agree that this discussion is getting a bit uneasy. What I simply don't
understand is that your need of creating a smaller and simpler version of
Delphi's sysutils.pas is worth having a fight about the entire exception
handling in Delphi over. I, for one, have been programming with Delphi for a
few years - and can't see what your point is besides a few extra bytes...Who
cares how many extra lines of code being executed in case of an exception ?
Not me, at least. ...And - who wants some low-level determination about
whether the application should halt in case of an exception ? Certainly not
me. I rarely force an exit upon an exception, and I have a goal that most
exceptions should be handled without affecting other parts.

I find no reason to speak hard on you, however. Who knows, maybe I'll agree
with you once I understand what you're saying ? Have a nice day !
