Do tell ... it would seem we have a small group here who leap to defend status
quo (i.e. Delphi as dictated to us). Not exactly my notion of progressive
programming. I may be dating myself rather severely but I recall the days
when a new version of CP/M (8080 version) would arrive and the first thing out
of our mouths was "Ok, lets see what's wrong with this..." and over the next
few days a dozen or so patches would be written tested and sent off...
When and why did we switch from the "rebel with a clue" to not daring to
question the Delphi Gods?
