IMO we have discussed this sufficiently now. It's documented, still not very
well known, that SysUtils must be used in order to make the Delphi SEH work.
Breaking the behviour of reserved words (compiler magics and built-in helpers)
requires modifcations of the standard units, and s/he who modifies these units
is responsible for any consequences.

So we should continue, if ever, to discuss the technical problems with existing
RTL code, and how these procedures could be improved. We also may discuss the
intended use of Delphi features, in order to find out about unwanted
consequences and side effects when violating these not always clearly stated
rules. But we should stop any djihads about "better" features of Delphi, and
about who has the monopoly on the truth about some specific topic.

In many cases flame wars simply result from misunderstandings, and I want to
stress here that this is an international newsgroup, with contributors from
various countries with different native tongues than just English. If nothing
helps, we should maintain a list of accepted statements, sorted into accepted
facts, and into opinions (freedom of speech). Then, according to the learning
curve, these statements can be modified or retracted. We might maintain another
list with assumptions and pretentions, that are worth further research (!!! -
not fruitless discussions), and in the final state this list should become
empty.
