I'm curious to know if any of the regulars here in this group are
using the new Delphi 2005?
I'm still using Delphi 6...haven't really had any reason to upgrade
because I've been very happy with it, plus I couldn't justify the cost
if my only reason was going to be just for the sake of having the
newest version. So I skipped over D7 and D8, but now I'm really
itching to upgrade.
I'm what you would consider a "casual programmer". I do things mostly
for myself (sometimes for clients), but it's definitely not a full
time job for me. I love tinkering with programming because I'm always
learning something new. Keeping the 'ol brain on its toes...you know
how it is.
Anybody here using it?
Opinions...?
What do you like/dislike about it?
Is it worth the upgrade from D6?
Any and all feedback would be appreciated..
