Moving to Delphi 2005

I'm looking at using Delphi 2005, but also need to have a copy of D7
to use for old apps (support).

Do I actually need D7 as well, or can I use D2005 for everything ?
Are there any compatability issues I need to be aware of ?
Do I need two licences (one for each), or can I get a licence to cover
all ?
or does the D2005 licence cover previous versions ?
If not, where can I get a D7 licence and copy of the software from
(UK) ? Borland no longer sell D7 from what I can tell.

With the cost of Delphi, I'd have thought there would be something
useful on their site, but maybe I've just missed it.

Part of the existing work is to be supported by developers using D7
and I'll be moving things to D2005 and doing the new development stuff
(gradually taking the work over), hence the need to have the old
version just in case.

Any recommendations or anything useful would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ryan
