When you're stuck on a problem, either whittle it down to the
smallest bit of code that demonstrates the problem, or write
a small demonstration from scratch.
In nine out of ten cases, you'll stumble across the solution.
Using the first technique, you stop when the fault disappears -
and what you did to make it go away is usually a strong hint
as to what was wrong. Similar but reverse for the second way.
In the tenth case, you'll have a nice, compact program that is
easy to read for people new to your project, so your chances
of getting a reply are much better. You'll probably also have
a better, more focused question to ask.
If this seems like an awful lot of work: yes, it often is.
But it's done once. If a hundred people want to respond, they
_all_ have to work through your code first.
