I know and I am using the facility on Linux server based systems.
Luckily I only had to install a basic single-user program once on
a terminal server system. The program is running quite ok on a
number of Windows systems, including on networked drives.
The trouble I had to get it to run on terminal server convinced me
to stay away from it if at all possible.
To give you another example, working on the local drive the
system can read my USB memory stick, if switched, and
operating in terminal server mode it can't.
It is probably just a setup problem, but I really do not feel like
reconfiguring a clients machine and possibly breaking other
stuff on the system.
