Auto-saving the registry
Using Delphi 5 Enterprise on Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.
I am writing an application that will store things like Version Info,
Username, etc in the Registry.
I don't want to do anything to damage the Registry but unfortunately it's
always a possibility.
Before I install my software (custom installation process, not InstallShield
or Wise) I want to automatically backup the Registry.
Is there an automatic (programmatic) way to backup the Registry?
I know I can avoid this scenario by using INI files but the specs call for
Registry entries.
Thanks,
