I've been looking for this myself.
It would appear that the checkbox is a standard microsoft component, and as
such can't be altered by a great deal. The original class doesn't expose the
colour of the checkbox.
You could quite easily roll your own - the check is hardly difficult to
draw. However, you'd fall over on XP's themes - if the user doesn't use your
theme, your checkboxes would stand out a mile as being different to the rest
of the system's.
However, as I say, I've been trying to do this for a while to the standard
checkbox and if anyone can prove me wrong I'd love to see it.
