Delphi Shareware

I have developed a utility - type program (in delphi) and I want to
sell it over the internet. It helps children and grown-ups with their
homework.

Most shareware-type programs seem to sell for about $10 - $15. I don't
think anyone will pay $10 for my utility - my biggest market will be
schoolchildren.

I figure that many youngsters will shell out $1. Has anyone any
experience of selling software for $1 a time - maybe using eBay or
paypal ?

Are there other ways of collecting $1 - eg getting the buyer to call a
premum-rate number ?

I am actually in the UK so it will be 1 GBP a pop.
