Really? The difference between a 4 seconds and an 8 second download,
you mean? Half the time, I can't click that fast.


under Delphi 6, my application can no longer be distributed on
1.44mb floppy disks :(

I can't remember the last time I *got* something distributed on
floppies.


Hmm, not too people have floppies any more in their pc's either!

Standard procedure for installing a new PC: connect floppy drive,
boot from floppy, copy CD contents to hard disk, work from there.
At some point, disconnect floppy drive and place back into archive.
("Archive" is that cupboard full of old junk.)

Some day, I'll have old motherboards that are recent enough to be
able to boot from CD... and a CD to replace that boot floppy with
the CD-ROM driver. What will I have won? I'll need one less floppy
drive.
